Saturday Spinners was organized in 1966 with 4 members getting together to share Handspinning.
The guild gradually grew, as more people became interested in spinning.
The membership is limited due to the fact that our monthly meetings are held in members
homes.

We do not have a fee for joining or monthly dues. The members are assessed when we need money for a conference booth.

It is also an educational guild, studying spinning and fiber from around the world.
In 1991 and 1993 Southern California Conferences, our guild booth was awarded the “Most
Educational”, for which we are very proud.
